More new People

So this trip out to see my Daddy’s family did not just mean adding a brand new state to my list of travels, but it also meant meeting even more special people!!! I got to meet my Daddy’s dear friend, Bill Witt. Mommy says that there are a lot of “Bill Witt Stories” that I won’t be told until I’m much older!

And I am such a luck girl; I have another set of Great Grandparents!!! Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Knaub gave me lots of kisses and hugs!

I also finally got to meet my Uncle Jake! He looks a LOT like my Daddy, only bigger! But just like my Daddy, he is just a great big Teddy Bear!

Pennsylvania Highland Games

For Labor Day weekend we took a trip out to see my Daddy’s family out in Pennsylvania! I was so excited to see everyone and to watch my Daddy in the Carlisle Highland Games!

He threw some really big stuff really far, but he also took some breaks to come over and give me hugs and kisses!

The excitement was a little nerve-wracking at times…..

and I did get a little tired…..

but overall it was really amazing!!! If you have never seen a games you should really check it out!!!! (As long as you cheer for my Daddy!)

Mommy Was Holding Out On Me!!!

Grammy came to stay with us for a couple of days after GGPa’s birthday party and before school started up again for her! While driving home Grammy told me something that I just couldn’t believe, she told me that I actually live right next to the beach!?!? I didn’t think this could be possible because Mommy knew how much I loved the beach on LBI and she never took me to a beach at home. The pool –Yes, but the beach- No. This just couldn’t be true.
Well sure enough Grammy told Mommy that she wanted to have lunch on the beach, so we packed up the umbrella and blanket and headed down. This beautiful beach is less then 1 mile from my house and Mommy never took me before?!?! How do you like that??

Grammy even let me put my toes in the sand and Mommy let me put my feet in the water!!! This beach stuff just gets better and better!!!



This summer may be winding down, but now that I know the truth I will be making sure there are a lot more days playing on OUR beach next summer. Anyone want to come join me??

GGPa’s Birthday Party

I love this family! I am pretty sure that all we do is go on vacation and go to parties!! Both of which sound like fun to me! This weekend we celebrated my GGPa’s 89th birthday! I’ve been alive about as many days as he has been years!!!

I got to see lots of Mommy’s aunts and uncles and cousins again and even got to meet more of the Colorado crew! GGma told me stories and of course Grandpa hogged me (but I loved it!)

Uncle Trey and I got some bonding time as well.

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family!!

Mommy & Daddy’s Dinner Party

After being away on vacation for so long Mommy and Daddy decided to have a Tappas style dinner party with Daddy’s boss and coworkers.

Mommy set the table all pretty and Daddy helped with the cooking.

I made a brief cameo to say hello to everyone, and then like the little angle that I am I went to sleep in my swing and let the adults have a wonderful evening together!

Thank Yous!

I can’t believe how many wonderful gifts I have received from my family and friends! That beautiful armoire that Grandpa got me is already overflowing with adorable outfits that I love wearing! The only problem is writing all these thank yous! I was having trouble holding the pen by myself, so I asked Lily to help me out.

She was doing well for awhile, but then she went on strike. So I am so sorry to everyone who has not yet received a thank you card from me. I promise I am working on them and they will all be out very soon!!!

1/3 My Life on LBI!

After three wonderful weeks on LBI it was time to go home. Three weeks may not sound like that long, but when you are only 9 weeks old that is 1/3 of your whole entire life! I can’t think of any better way to spend one-third your life, can you?

Dress Up Time

So there is more fun stuff to do at the beach then just put your toes in the sand! Grammy showed me how much fun it is to play dress up and wear beautiful beach jewelry. We got to have a mini fashion show for Mommy and Grandpa.

Grammy even let me wear my very first ankle bracelet! It was SO cute! I only got to wear it for a few minutes, but I’m sure there will be more in my future!

Mommy & Daddy’s Big Night Out

While at the beach Mommy and Daddy got to have their very first “date-night” since I came along. Grammy and Grandpa were very excited to have me (and a bottle of “Mommy milk”) for the night). Mommy and Daddy got all dressed up (as you can see from the pictures, Grammy made me get dressed up too for the event). As Mommy and Daddy were leaving I decided to take a little nap in my swing. Well that little nap turned into a big nap and I ended up sleeping through Mommy and Daddy’s entire date. They were glad that I was asleep the whole time they were gone, but Grammy and Grandpa felt sort of gypped that they didn’t actually get to have any fun with me alone. Grammy and Grandpa, I promise we will have plenty of fun times together soon!!!
