It’s My Party!

What is better then a party all about me!! Grammy had everyone over to her house to meet me. I still can’t believe how big this family is! There was lots of people, yummy looking food and tons of wonderful presents! And the best part was I got to wear several different party dresses (cause Mommy and Grammy couldn’t decide which one they liked best.) Uncle Tim said that I had more costume changes then the host of the MTV VMA’s, but he agreed that I looked beautiful in every single dress!

I even got to meet great-grandpa and see G-Gma again! What a special day!

Being this pretty all day is hard work! Time for bed.

Stroll Along the Boardwalk

Grammy was up visiting again, she says she can’t get enough of me! Mommy and Daddy love having her visit too! They get extra naps and yummy food, and I get lots and lots of hugs and kisses! We all attempted a walk on the town boardwalk, but quickly realized that the bouncing was too much for my little neck. We opted instead for a nice little walk through town. I can't wait until I'm big enough for walks on the boardwalk beacuse from what I saw it is really beautiful!!

Maggie & Seamus Visit

Maggie and Seamus came over to visit us tonight. Mommy tells me that Maggie is her cousin’s cousin, which in our house is the same as family! Although she tells me that she and Maggie have hope of me and Seamus being prom dates. He is pretty cute!

During their visit Seamus and Daddy read some exciting books and played with some of my toys while Mommy and Maggie talked about ME of course! Maggie was nice enough to take our very first family photo (so who do I look more like, Mommy or Daddy?)

Maggie also brought over a bunch of very yummy looking food, including her famous sausage & potato dish and toffee cakes!

After Maggie and Seamus left Mommy and Daddy decided to skip dinner and just have toffee cake! I bet they won’t let me do that when I get older!

My First Dress & 2 Week Appointment

FINALLY today Mommy put me in a pretty dress! It only took two whole weeks! I got to wear my pretty new dress to my two week doctor’s appointment. At the appointment we found out that I am super healthy and growing like crazy! I am half an inch longer, 22” now, and I am up to 9lbs! The doctor was very excited about my progress and happy to see I have been nursing so well! And she liked my pretty dress too! I tried to be good and pose for some pictures,
but even models have their limits.

With My Family

Here are some of the beautiful pictures that Uncle Phil took of me with my parents and grandparents and my Uncle Tim. Mommy tried to get a picture of Uncle Phil holding me so he wouldn’t be left out, but it isn’t as nice as Uncle Phil’s pictures. He is a really great photographer and Mommy is trying to learn from him.

Little Fingers & Little Toes

Is there anything cuter then little baby fingers and toes? Uncle Phil took some amazing pictures of everyone, while he was up visiting. But the ones of little fingers and little toes are especially cute!

Angle vs. Angel

So a few of you have pointed out that some of my Mommy’s spelling isn’t perfect. In most cases the computers spell checker lets her know before she posts, but as we all know the spell checker doesn’t help when you type the wrong word. Yes Mommy may have written that I was a “perfect little angle”, this could be because she missed her engineering work so much (but I doubt that was it) or it could have been from lack of sleep (this is more likely explanation). But then Daddy pointed out that he thinks that I do in fact have perfect “angles” as these poses illustrate. So I guess I am a perfect little angel with perfect little angles.

GG-Ma & More Family

Today I got to meet my first Great grandparent! My GG-Ma came over with Mommy’s Aunt Lois and cousins Jessica and Joanna. It is so exciting meeting all these new family members! I can’t believe how many there are. GG-Ma sang me a special song that she sang to my Pop-pop and my Mommy when they were little. I can’t wait to see her again so I can “tell her a story” like she asked me to!
