Stop and smell the flowers

Grammy and Poppa taught me how to “smell” flowers (it was pretty hard to get me to stop trying to eat the flower when they put it near my face). Well now smelling flowers is one of my favorite things to do.

Every time we get out of the car I make Daddy let me smell the pretty flowers in front of the door. I think everyone should remember to stop and smell all the flowers!

The Fan

Do you have any idea how cool fans are (no pun intended).

I happen to think that they are SO much fun to turn on and off and watch them go round and round.

And the best part is Poppa lets me turns his fan on and off when ever I want.

I just point and smile and he knows exactly what I want to do! He is the best!

Trip to the aquarium

Yesterday I thought the zoo was the neatest place ever, then Mommy and Daddy brought me to the Mystic Aquarium, now I don’t know what I like better!

Watching all the penguins eat their lunch was SO COOL! They fought over the little fish like Daddy, Uncle Phil and Uncle Jake when GB (Grandpa Thuma) make his famous chicken and broccoli!!!

We also got to see Seals, and Sea Lions and white Beluga Whales!

And I had the best view in the place!!

Mommy and Daddy promised we would come back real soon to visit the penguins again! I can’t wait!

Zoo zoo zoo

Mommy and Daddy took me to the coolest place today, THE ZOO!!!! I didn’t know that all those animals in my books could all be seen in one place! I was so excited!!! (Of course the Alligator in the picture isn’t real)

First Daddy showed us how big his “wing span” is.

Then me and Mommy got to be Peacocks!

Then we got to see lots of Peacocks walking around all over the zoo!! They had really pretty feathers and I really liked watching them.

I also got really excited at the little monkeys, see I’m trying to tell Mommy to put down the camera and look!

The baby piglets were really neat too!

I liked the zoo so much that Mommy and Daddy got a membership so we can come back all the time! I can’t wait!

Going to the park

Grammy was off from school this week so we got to spend lots and lots of time doing fun things together! One beautiful day she took me and Mommy to a really pretty park in NJ. There was suppose to be a zoo, but it was closed that day L Fortunately the ponies were still out.

I got really excited to see them! But I got a little scared when they neighed really loud!

They made me wear stinky sun tan lotion and a big hat. I eventually got the hat off, despite Grammy’s best efforts to foil my attempts….but then they put it right back on!

After the ponies we played at the playground! What a cool place! There were lots and lots of other kids to watch (which happens to be one of my favorite things to do),

and I got to go on the slide and the swings! I felt like such a big girl!!

I gave Grammy a great big hug to thank her for such a fun day!

Puff Kisses

Grammy knows how much I love my cereal puffs! And she uses this knowledge to bribe kisses out of me!

She puts a puff between her lips and makes me “kiss” it away from her.

The funny part is I love giving her kisses, even without the puffs!

Easter

For Easter we got to go visit my Aunt Janis’s house and see Poppa’s family.

Mommy made me wear a very silly dress, but I kind of liked it. I really liked that I got my own pretty Easter basket!

After I had enough of the Easter dress Uncle Tim helped me put on some fun clothes. But Grammy had to go and add a silly headband!

Uncle Tim helped me get it off. Much better!
