Baby's Stroller

It might not be Spring yet, but the sun was shining and Mommy, Margaret and Charlotte NEEDED to get out of the house (okay mostly Mommy!) So we headed out to the park. On the way out the door Margaret insisted that "Baby" and "skoller" (stroller) need to come. Margaret saw (and heard) a plane fly overhead, and got very excited describing the plane to her Baby.

Since Baby wasn't big enough to ride the pony, she got to just look at it.

At first we thought Charlotte was going to nap through the entire trip, but she began to "think about" joining us....

Here Margaret is telling Baby about the birds flying around......

And Charlotte decided that it was too beautiful at the park to sleep through it all. So she woke up her wonderful cheery self!

Lots of big smiles!

Margaret left Baby with Mommy so she could try out all the fun things at the playground.

I think these smiles sum up how much fun everyone had!

Cookies with Grammy

Grammy heard how much fun Margaret and Mommy had making cookies together that she wanted to get in on the fun!
Of course Grammy had a perfect little table and adorable apron for the event!

And much better cookie cutters then Mommy had.

Margaret was very excited that she got to make hearts and wanted to show everyone!

Margaret even tried to share her cookies with Charlotte and Poppa. Only problem is they weren't cooked yet!

Poppa thought the cookies were very good, but that some quiet snuggle time with little Charlotte was even better!

Play Group

Today we got to go to our very first craft Playgroup! Sylvi and her Mommy had all sorts of really fun Valentine's Day crafts for the kiddos to do.
First we made our special mail-bags for our Valentine's to go in...

Lauryn's Mommy helped Margaret with some of the stamps...

Then we made a special picture frame...

And the best part was we got to spend some special time with all of our friends!

Margaret had so much fun and keeps talking about wanting to go back to Sylvi's house soon!

Oh and we can't forget about sweet little Charlotte, she enjoyed watching all the big kids play. I know she can't wait to get her hands in there too! And I'm afraid it won't be long before she is!

Getting ready for Valentine's Day

Today was another "snow day", more like a "sleet and yuck day". Basically this meant Stroller Strides was cancelled and I was facing an entire day in the house with the girls! Trust me this is scarier then it might sound!

Then I remembered that the next day we had our Valentine's Day Playgroup! So I deiced we would try to make some cookies and some Valentine's for all of our Playgroup friends!
Okay Mommy might have helped with those cookies, but Margaret did get to decorate some of her own...

Unfortunately she figured out right away that it was more fun to eat them then to decorate them!

But we did manage to save some for our friends!

And Margaret had a lot of fun putting the frosting on.

I think they came out beautiful!

And of course we had to eat just one more!

Next it was on to making the Valentines for our friends.

Margaret drew each one herself, and even added stickers....

Clearly Margaret thought this was pretty fun!

I also think these are beautiful!

Thank goodness for washable markers!!!
