Slip n slide

It might not actually be summer yet, but that hasn't stopped us from enjoying the warm weather to the fullest!


It is Slip-n-slide time!

I don't know who had more fun with this?  The girls slashing in the

 water, or Mommy turning up the water each time they took a drink?  

Starting to grow....

Flowers

Today Mommy thought that the spring flowers on the bushes were looking particularly nice, so she grabbed the camera and told the girls that it was time for some photos.  Margaret was not happy about this idea and did her best "grummy faces" to prove it.

Charlotte on the other hand was a lot more agreeable about the idea.....

Which of course then meant that Margaret wanted to have her picture taken too...

Then Mommy tried to press her luck!  She wanted picture of both the girls sitting nicely together (yes you can laugh at her!)

First you have to try to get them to look at the camera...

Then you have to try to get them to smile....below you can see Charlotte's "cheese face" (can you hear her saying cheeesssseee)

Then comes the melt down!  In this case it happened at the exact moment that Margaret decided to touch Charlotte.  All Mommy's hopes of a picture of them together was over!

Finally Spring!

After a very long and snowy winter, Spring has finally arrived in Connecticut!  This of course means lots and lots of time spent running around outside and many trip to our local playgrounds!  While Grammy and Poppa were up for a weekend visit Margaret and Charlotte decided to bring them to one of their favorites!   

Margaret got to show off how she is learning to pump her legs on the big swing...

But she also remembered that swinging with Poppa is a LOT more fun!

The last time Charlotte got to play at the playground she still needed help with most of the climbing and sliding, so she was VERY excited when she was able to climb all the way to the top all by herself!

And a little nervous (but mostly excited) when she got to go down the slide all be herself too!!!!
