On the Road Again…..

So good ahead…..take your best guess…..how long do you think me and Mommy were going to Grammy house for??

If you said we were moving out and leaving Daddy forever, you would be VERY VERY wrong! This is what the packing looks like for a weekend (okay three days total) at Grammy’s house!

Now in Mommy’s defense some of this stuff was being brought down to leave there so that I would have lots of my stuff at Grammy's house everytime I come to visit.
So this of course would mean that the car was less full for the drive home??? Nope it just meant that there was enough room to go shopping!!!

Special Request

We interrupt this regularly scheduled story of “my life” to ask for some extra prayers and love sent down to our friends on the Texas coast. That mean old Ike was not very nice to my friend Blayne! First she had to evacuate her beautiful home and then she and her Mommy and Daddy came home to a real mess! You can see the scary pictures on her blog http://babyblayne.blogspot.com/

Any prayers or love you could send their way would be greatly appreciated!

Great-Grandpa’s & Great-Grandma’s Special Gifts

I know I have said it before, and I will probably say it again; I AM ONE LUCKY GIRL!!!! Just when I thought this trip out to Pennsylvania couldn’t get any better I find out that Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa both have presents for me. And these aren’t just your run of the mill presents; these are REALLY REALLY special presents!!!

Great-Grandma’s present can’t be shown yet because it is a surprise. But she is taking my Mommy’s wedding dress and making it into my Christening gown!!! I am going to look even more beautiful!

And Great-Grandpa MADE me my very own ride on doggie, just like my big cousin Sojourner’s!

I checked out every detail and I can tell you this is some very fine craftsmanship!

I can’t wait till I’m big enough to really ride it by myself. Sojourner is trying to get me to smile for the camera, but I'm way to interested in this bike to be concerned with that!

Thank you so much Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa! You guys are the best!!!
