Stroller

First time out with the brand new wheels!!!! Finally got my Bob's Double stroller!!! And I LOVE IT!!
Charlotte slept through the entire trip around Rockland Lake, so I'm pretty sure she is loving it too!!!

Big Girl Birthday Party!

Today Margaret got to go to her very first big girl Birthday Party, for her friend Meredeth. Margaret got dressed up in a pretty party dress and the fancy headband that Baba send her!
She was very excited to see her friends!

And of course she really wanted to wear the princess costume that the birthday girl got to rock!

Little did she know that everyone got to wear beautiful dresses!!!

Margaret got to have her nails painted for the first time!

And wanted to show her nails to everyone!

Then came the face painting!

She looked in the mirror over and over again....

Then we made beautiful necklaces....

And of course there was cake!!!

Then there was more time looking in the mirror!

The Park with Poppa & Grammy

Another trip to the park with Grammy and Poppa! Margaret already knows it is going to be fun!
First Poppa pushes really high on the swings....Then he jumps on the bridge with Margaret....

Then Poppa demonstrates why only one person is allowed on the slide at a time....

A little kiss makes it all better...

Then there was some feeding the birds on the beach...

Who says you can't enjoy the beach in the winter....

Come here birds, I have some crackers for you....

What a great day at the park!

Laugh out loud funny!

One of Margaret's favorite activities after nap time (when she is not really ready to be awake yet) is to sit with Mommy and look at pictures and videos on the computer. Well today we were watching some videos and we came across this little one take a few nights before.....

I thought the video was a little funny....but Margaret thought it was VERY funny and insisted on watching it over and over again......

Charlotte's Playtime

These days Charlotte is really loving her play mat! She loves looking in the mirror and pulling on all her animal friends that are hanging around above her. She was looking so cute entertaining herself that I had to get a shot of her adorable smile!
Which of course meant that Margaret had to come over and try to steal some of the attention!

"I can lay on the mat too Mommy!"

Fortunately right now Charlotte gets really excited when she sees or hears Margaret, so she didn't mind sharing at all.

She was just super happy that everyone was playing with her!

Well she was happy until Margaret decided she needed even more attention......

Then it was all a little too much for Charlotte to take....

But getting her mat back all to herself made it all better....

Margaret's Tag Sale

This morning we were heading out to Stroller Strides and as I was packing everything up I noticed that Margaret had found the tag sale stickers that were in my desk. Typically she only puts her stickers on her paper.....so I can't help but wonder if she actually knew that these ones were for things you want to sell......

Much to Margaret's disappointment we are going to keep Charlotte and Lily.

Roll Over

There were four in the bed and the little one said "roll over....roll over" so they all rolled over and one fell out.....

Okay so we don't all sleep in the same bed (well at least not all the time) and we don't let Charlotte roll around on top of the bed (for fear of exactly what happens in that song!)

But here she is rolling over all the same!

Now every time you put her down on her back she immediately rolls over onto her belly. The only problem is she typically doesn't really like being on her belly, so she starts to cry. You help her out by putting her on her back again and what does she do? Rolls right back onto her belly again!
