More Apple and Pumpkins

Grammy and Poppa came for a visit, so it was off to the orchards again! This time we went to Scott's Yankee Farm, right down the street from us!
Once again there was plenty of 'sampling' going on by all.
Margaret picked her pumpkin out! Just her size.
Charlotte wanted them all!
A little tree climbing of course (even though the signs say 'no climbing the trees')
And more sampling...
Then we headed down to the corn maze

Even Charlotte wanted to try walking around
but she still needed some help.

Arrrrrrr

What is better then going to a birthday party? Going to a pirate birthday party!

Seamus had a great pirate costume and even had extra pirate hats for everyone to wear!
The pirates of course had to hunt for their buried treasure.
And the map lead them to the booty!
Everyone always has a blast at the O'Rourke's house!

Like Me Dolls

Stroller Strides is lots of fun, but what the girls REALLY love is playgroup afterwards! Miss Laurie has great books and super fun crafts for all the kiddos to do!
First they sit and listen to the story......
(How she gets them all to sit so nicely we will never understand!)
At this playgroup the craft was to make a "Like Me" doll! Unfortunately there was no way to help two little girls make their dolls and take pictures at the same time.

So cute!

Happy Birthday Uncle Tim

Grammy and Poppa's house is so much fun! Especially when Uncle Tim and Uncle Trey are there!
Uncle Tim knows exactly which toy is Charlotte's favorite!
And he loves watching her play with it!
And Margaret thinks having Uncle Trey wear her (like Mommy wears Charlotte with the sling) it pretty funny!
Having cousins there to play with is super fun too!
Like baby Violet (visiting all the way from Colorado).
And cousin Matthew (or Match-choo-choo as he is currently being called)
And as if that wasn't enough, we got to celebrate Uncle Tim's birthday and have cake too!

Isn't family the best!

Apple Picking Take 1

In New England in the fall there are lots of fun things to do! But apple and pumpkin picking are our favorite, so we make sure to hit the orchards early and often throughout the season!

Charlotte loved her first visit to Holmberg Orchard! But then again who wouldn't love the beautiful setting and yummy apples right off the tree!

Oh and the pumpkin patch was super fun too!
Margaret was a lot more interested in the sweet apples and not so interested in the pumpkins. We took this same shot last year and boy has Margaret grown!
