After 41 weeks and 3 days Miss Charlotte Elizabeth finally decided to grace us with her arrival. Ben said that compared to Margaret she was "early". Anyone who has carried a baby for more then 41 weeks knows that "early" is not the right word!Charlotte arrived at 3:47am after a relatively short, but intense labor and delivery. She weighed in at a very healthy 8 lbs 11 oz and was 21.5" long! Due to the speed of the delivery there was some swelling and bruising to Charlotte's little face, so please excuse the slight boxer-like appearance.
Charlotte was placed on Mommy's chest as soon and she was born and nestled right in and began nursing. Once her little belly was full she moved right into her Daddy's open arms and instantly melted his heart!

Congratulations to all!! We have been waiting to see sweet Charlotte's beautiful face! We are glad that she is finally here. She is gorgeous- but we wouldn't expect any less! Enjoy!
