Charlotte is celebrating her first birthday with tons of new excitement and personality! She LOVES all her books (and Margaret's books too) and would be very happy if we just sat on the floor and read books all day long. She also really loves taking care of her animals and baby dolls, just like she sees big sister do. Charlotte is on the verge of walking, but hasn't yet committed to letting go of and hand and making a break for it. We have taught Charlotte to sign and she is picking up new signs almost everyday. Right now her favorites are: baby, more, please, eat, all done, hat, bath, nurse, diaper, cat, frog, dog, duck and of course book! In terms of speaking words Charlotte loves to yell for both Momma and Dadda, but cat is probably her favorite word. 'Mar' is what she is currently calling Margaret, but often sounds a lot like her 'more' and can be a little confusing. Charlotte also loves singing and dancing with her big sister, and the mere mention of Grammy & Poppa's house causes her to lose it with excitement!
