Final Pumpkin Patch Pictures

Since the girls are still too young to go trick-or-treating (and really why would we want to rush having tons of candy in our house and their bellies!) So for Halloween this year the girls got all dressed up and we went to play at the pumpkin patch one more time.

Birthday Pictures

On Charlotte's actual birthday Mommy decided to try to take some outdoor pictures of the girls together. Some how she always forgets how hard it is to get a nice picture of the two of them together!
But we keep trying! "Hey girls....look here!"

"No! Up here!"

Okay, good enough.

Now lets just try some with one girl at a time.....

And she is DONE!

1 Year Update

Charlotte is celebrating her first birthday with tons of new excitement and personality! She LOVES all her books (and Margaret's books too) and would be very happy if we just sat on the floor and read books all day long. She also really loves taking care of her animals and baby dolls, just like she sees big sister do. Charlotte is on the verge of walking, but hasn't yet committed to letting go of and hand and making a break for it. We have taught Charlotte to sign and she is picking up new signs almost everyday. Right now her favorites are: baby, more, please, eat, all done, hat, bath, nurse, diaper, cat, frog, dog, duck and of course book! In terms of speaking words Charlotte loves to yell for both Momma and Dadda, but cat is probably her favorite word. 'Mar' is what she is currently calling Margaret, but often sounds a lot like her 'more' and can be a little confusing. Charlotte also loves singing and dancing with her big sister, and the mere mention of Grammy & Poppa's house causes her to lose it with excitement!

Charlotte's Party Time

We still don't know how it could be possible, but it is already Charlotte's first birthday! So everyone put on their best party clothes (okay costumes) and came over to celebrate!

And so many fun gifts to play with after the party was over!

Halloween at the Bronx Zoo

During the month of October any kids in costume get into the Bronx Zoo for free. We are members, but who doesn't want to wear a Halloween costume to the zoo!
