Toy Store!

On the day before Thanksgiving Mommy and Daddy took me on a little trip. It was a day filled with “firsts”. My first time on a ferry, my first time on a bus, my first time in New York City, and my first time in a REALLY cool toy store! Mommy and Daddy took me to FAO Schwartz!!! I didn’t know what to expect, but I knew it would be special when I saw the real live toy soldiers outside the front doors!

And it only got better inside!!! There were giant animals of all sorts…..

And lots of neat baby toys!

Daddy got to play with a bunch of Harry Potter stuff, including the Sorting Hat!

And we saw all the Harry Potter characters made out of Legos! (Well I fell alseep, but Mommy showed me the pictures)

I found out that I LOVE PUPPETS!!! And my Daddy put on such great puppet shows in the store that people were stopping to watch. So we decided to take “Captain Blaze”, the fireman putppet, home with us.

And it turns out Daddy loves puppets too!! He is the one who wanted to go to FAO Schwartz in the first place in order to build his very own Muppet! Me and Mommy helped him at the “What Not Worrkshop”. We got to pick out all our Muppet’s face pieces and clothes. It was really cool!!!

Then we took our new Muppet home with us!

Mommy and Daddy said that going into the city the day before Thanksgiving may have just begun a family tradition! How fun is that!
