Sorry we have been gone for awhile, but Mommy and I had to leave on short notice. My G-Gpa Piazza(Great Grandpa) got very sick, so we went to the hospital to give him hugs and kisses, and to say goodbye. I thought the hospital was going to be a cold and sad place, but in true Piazza style everyone was there. And I’m talking EVERYONE! All six of G-Gpa’s children, with spouses; every single one of his eighteen Grandchild and three of his Great-Grandchildren. That doesn’t even count the nieces, nephews and friends. There were of course a lot of sad tears, but there were also a lot of memories being shared.
G-Gpa was VERY proud of his family, and after spending a week with everyone I can see why! We all love each other VERY VERY much, and that is what really counts!! Even though there was lots of sadness, we still made sure to enjoy each other. Mommy tells me that G-Gpa would have wanted it that way.

Thank you G-Gpa for everything you did to help make this family what it is today. We all love you and miss you terribly!

I am so sorry for your family's loss. I'm sure that your G-Gpa felt blessed to have such a wonderful family and such amazing memories. I'm sure he was very glad to have spend time with the newest member of the Piazza family, even if was too short of a time.
My thoughts and love are with all of you.
