Due Date +8 Days
I am continuing to do my best to be as calm and patient as possible, but really this picture was just an excuse to use my band new lens for my camera! I was obviously hoping that by now the lens would be used to take lots and lots of wonderful baby pictures to share with everyone, but in the meantime this is what you get.
Tonight Ben and I are planning on another round of super spicy Thai food. I know it didn’t work last weekend but a lot of people swear by the old wives tale, so we are going to give it another shot. We are also using this extra time to get our fill of terrible summer movies. Earlier this week we went to see Indiana Jones. We knew it was going to be terrible (and it was), but when you love a series that much you kind of have to see it. I did laugh a lot during the movie! (Mostly during the “action sequences”. But still laughing is good, right?) Tonight I’ll drag Ben to see the Sex in the City movie. Same logic as above. It will probably be terrible, but I just can’t look away.

Ok, first off, awesome shot! The picture is beautiful.
Second, say it ain't so about Indy! There was a kernel of hope in my heart that the older, wiser professor/adventurer would be worth seeing.
Finally, just keep up the positive attitude. You and Ben have been amazing, and I know you will continue to be. You're little will finally greet the world in its own time. Here's hoping that time will be VERY VERY soon (now would be good, how about now little one?)
We're all sending love and good wishes your way.
I'm trying not to laugh because I remember how frustrated Ashly was when Blayne took an extra 12 days to grace us with her presence. Good things take time.
Great depth of field in the photo.
Please keep in mind that we Thumas like to do things in our own time. :)
The baby, like his/her father, probably needs to completely master something before arriving in the outside world.
